ecosystem virus.

In 2019, the "ECOSYSTEM VIRUS" performance project was initiated within the realm of my academic pursuits. This project came to life on the stage of the esteemed dance theatre, "HOROTHEATRO AKTINA". The essence of this project was deeply profound, embodying a dyadic narrative that explored the intricate relationship between the internal ecosystem of the body and the body as a constituent of a larger ecological system. The core message conveyed was that the human body parallels the complexity of nature's ecosystems. It delved into the interplay of influences among bodies, stressing the repercussions when individuals detach from the natural world, a condition referred to as nature deficit disorder. Furthermore, the project delved into the consequences that emerge within our bodies as the environment undergoes shifts. It probed into how external changes impact our physical beings and also contemplated the influence exerted by other individuals on our bodily experiences. It underscored a crucial revelation - the presence of our bodies not only responds to environmental stimuli but, in turn, shapes the very ecosystem we inhabit. By recognising ourselves as integral components of a greater ecological network, we gain a deeper understanding of the reciprocal relationship between our bodies and the environment.
